Automatic Browser Detection Problem
Ismet
DNN Static Localization
allows automatic browser detection to be used as a mechanism to identify what
language
a user would prefer. This is essentially used when the user hasn't chosen a culture by other means (language parameter in url, preferred locale etc).
When
Content Localization
is enabled the "
static
" localization detects the browser's language, however unless there is a language parameter in the url the content localization does not. This generates to an unusual scenario where a user could browse to a site and all the content is in the default language except the sign in and register buttons which are in his language of choice.
This problem already reported under Support Tracker and DotNetNuke Core team has been working on it.
