Looks like Users Online module settings do not take effect even you apply them under Host Settings page. Today i have encountered this issue on my personal blog page. The fix was pretty straightforward.

First you must enable PurgeUsersOnline under Scheduled Tasks. You also should connect to SQL Server Management Studio and apply the fix by changing DisableUsersOnline value from Y to N under your database's HostSettings table. Then restart the application via Host credentials under Host > Host Settings page.

Then come back here and say thanks xD

Hi, I have setup a DNN 5.1.4 website and apparently your steps don't seem to work for me. I checked in the DB the value for DisableUsersOnline and it was N already. I have also restarted the application but still it doesn't seem to purge the users online. I have set the Users Online Time to 10 minutesunder host settings and by default the scheduler for purging users online is set to every 1 minute. Any idea why it wouldn't purge?
