How to Install DotNetNuke using Windows XP Professional

NOTE: Ensure that you have a extraction utility for compressed files. Windows XP has built-in tool but i recommend using WinRAR or Winzip to extract compressed files. You can also use other freeware utilities to compress or decompress files.

Navigate to directory where DotNetNuke Installation Package is placed. (e.g C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Downloads)



Right click to package and extract it to a folder like below.



You will end up having following directory on file system.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Downloads\DotNetNuke_05.00.00_Install
