Dropdown Selection bug with News Module

If you are using latest release of DotNetNuke and News Articles module from Ventrian, you might have already noticed this. When logged in as host and writing an article there is an option to change author. However dropdown list selection does not work correctly.

Altough i select another author from the list, once the article published i see that host user is still appearing as author.

I hope this gets fixed soon.
