Do you know about
Shoutcast Broadcasting Server? I always wanted to
host my own radio for my visitors, well i wouldn't have much
listeners because i lack at DJ skills :)
However, those who want to try it, there is a free DotNetNuke module for that purpose now. It lets you display
Song Title, DJ, Bitrate, Who's Listening, Peak, URL and more information.
XML Date gets read from the
Shoutcast Stream. If DJ wants, he can also add hyperlinks to stream information. More information is available at Project Startup Guide at Codeplex.
